Mrs Mike

Did you ever have one of those days where everything you set out to do, with good intentions, actually turned into a disaster? The short story, "Mrs. Mike , " by Benedict and Nancy Freedman" reminded me of the trouble I got into as a younger boy. Like the main character in this book, a young boy of about 6 years old, I am told that I got into mischief when I was little. I was not sassy or naughty, just very interested in my surroundings. Perhaps a bit too much at times.

Although I am told that I was a very good boy when I was little, like the boy in this book, I tended to make messes when I was suppose to be cleaning. My mom said I was a real free spirit and a bundle of energy and joy. I mean, who would not love a face like mine? It was a face, like the boy's in this book, that tended to get full of mud, or the latest color of acrylic paints that were available in the Rogers' home.

Although I have grown a bit and no longer make the messes that I did when I was six, I think I still offer my mom and dad plenty of challenges when I set out to do certain things by myself. Like the time I tried to fix the faucet in the bathroom and caused a huge leak all over the floor. Again, good intentions, just did not carry it out as well as I had planned.

But that was when I was a little boy now I'm a teen . When ever I do something wrong I tell my parents right away . Not like when I was a little boy when I would just try to hide it. So I guess you can say I have grown up to be a great young ,man .
