I am a eagle soaring in the sky
I am a foot ball player running down the side lines
I am a sweet lollypop
I am a baby gazelle runing for my life
I am a lion sitting strong on proud rock

Mrs Mike
Did you ever have one of those days where everything you set out to do, with good intentions, actually turned into a disaster? The short story, "Mrs. Mike , " by Benedict and Nancy Freedman" reminded me of the trouble I got into as a younger boy. Like the main character in this book, a young boy of about 6 years old, I am told that I got into mischief when I was little. I was not sassy or naughty, just very interested in my surroundings. Perhaps a bit too much at times.
Although I am told that I was a very good boy when I was little, like the boy in this book, I tended to make messes when I was suppose to be cleaning. My mom said I was a real free spirit and a bundle of energy and joy. I mean, who would not love a face like mine? It was a face, like the boy's in this book, that tended to get full of mud, or the latest color of acrylic paints that were available in the Rogers' home.
Although I have grown a bit and no longer make the messes that I did when I was six, I think I still offer my mom and dad plenty of challenges when I set out to do certain things by myself. Like the time I tried to fix the faucet in the bathroom and caused a huge leak all over the floor. Again, good intentions, just did not carry it out as well as I had planned.
But that was when I was a little boy now I'm a teen . When ever I do something wrong I tell my parents right away . Not like when I was a little boy when I would just try to hide it. So I guess you can say I have grown up to be a great young ,man .

what i remember
Well the thing I remember the most about my child hood . Is the time I rode my bike with no training wheels. That was the most fun yet scary thing I ever did I my whole life. I was about 5 years old when my mom said. I think its time you tried to ride your bike with no training wheels. Now when I was 5 I was fear less so I said ok I will try it.
So my mom tuck me up on the top of our hill and said are you ready. I said yes so she let go and I went racing down the hill I have never gone so fast. Then out of know ware I fell over into a big bush . But I was ok and I tried it a few times more tell I got the hang of it . That was of my favorite child memories.

B days
I love birthdays. They do not even have to be mine to be fun. They just make everyone forget about all the bad things in life and on having a good time. Also i get to eat my favorite food in the world cake . You can eat it with any thing . Also birthdays are fun because it brings all your friends together . So that is why I love birth days.

Bones
I can't imagine what it would be like to go through life without my dad, and that is probably why I walked away feeling very sad after reading the the story, "Bones," by Pat Carr. The story describes a family that is struggling and very sad because they are dealing with the loss of their father who died in a car accident . So it is really hard for the family in this story. The mom is working two jobs . The boy Mike, and his sister, Anna, are taking it very hard.
Although both kids in the story are taking their father's death very hard, it is Mike who is having the most struggles. He is always getting in fights with other kids . I guess I could not blame him. I know if my dad died I would act out as well. I love my dad very much. We do every thing together . We go to movies ,foot ball games and fishing together. He is always there for me , and I'm always his first priority . Also he is really smart . He knows everything, especially when it comes to math. I swear he invented it.
Even though my dad has a lot of responsibilities, he always takes time to listen to me. I could not imagine who I would go to for advice if he was not around. If I ever have a problem , or a bad day at school , he always cheers me up . Some how ,my problems do not seem too big anymore.
Although I love my dad very much, we still have are feuds. Sometimes he pushes me really hard . He expects a lot out of me. Mostly when it comes to getting good grades and preparing for my future.

dreams
Do you like to read stories about people who reach their dreams against all odds? I was really inspired by the short story, "Light Me On Fire," by Richard Lyttle. It made me think . It made me think how lucky I am to have the gift of sight, unlike José Feliciano , the young boy in this book. He is not so lucky because he is blind . The inspiring part of the story is that he has a dream, and does not let being blind stop him from reaching it.
Just because he is blind does not mean that Jose' is not going to give everything he has to accomplish his dream of being a music artist. That’s just like me. If is something in the way of my dreams, I just push right on through and I will not stop until I get to the top .
Just like José .He wont stop until he is the next big music artist . Now I know in this book José and I don’t sound anything alike, but we do both have a lot of determination and never give up. We are both guys with dreams and goals.
Although Jose's dream is to be an artist and my dream is to play foot ball in the NFL, both are hard dreams to achieve. Both dreams take a lot of hard work and determination to come true . Like Jose', I plan on putting in the work I need to do to achieve my dreams. I also believe in myself, just like Jose'.
In addition to having big career dreams , Jose; and I have dream for the other parts of our lives . José gets married to a nice girl and that is also one of my dreams . I have a goal to meet a nice girl an d marry her. Like Jose; , I plan on achieving all of my dreams .
