Mary Poppins Mode of Literature

What must it be like to have a new nanny every week? Better yet, what would it be like to be that nanny? In the the movie, "Mary Poppins," based on the book written by P. L. Travers, the plot line starts with a minor conflict. The plot line, symbolism and behavior of the main characters are all examples of a clear romantic mode of literature. In the end, good did triumph and everyone was happy.

The plot line starts with the minor conflict when the Banks need a new nanny and Mary Poppins breezes in. The romantic mode of literature is also obvious throughout the movie in the fantasy world that Mary Poppins brings to the children. I was really drawn into this part of the movie when she showed the kids a picture, and then they were magically inside it. I would love to be able to do that. The movie showed several symbols and scenes that stretched my imagination. The author does an excellent job of taking the viewers to a place that could only exist in their imagination.

As in the romantic mode of literature, the main character, Mary Poppins is in control in the movie. This also presents a conflict. Mr. Banks is shown as sort of the evil guy when he tries to make the children invest their money instead of spending it. I thought that Mr. Banks was the reason for many of the children's behavior problems. They seemed like they just needed attention that they did not get from their father. Mr. Banks never posed a serious threat, he just seemed very cold.

As in the romantic mode of literature, in the end, the minor conflicts are resolved. Mr. Banks realizes that he should spend more time with his children and less time at work. I though this was one of the most important lessons in the movie. The romantic plot ended with everyone doing the right thing.

Favorite Food

My favorite food is tacos. You can eat them anywhere . It is like god put them on this earth for my enjoyment . The best place to get them is taco bell. I know there not good for you in all but they are so good. Its not like I eat them all the time. I eat one every month or so. I would like to eat them more though. So now you know my favorite food what is yours.

if u ask me who my favorite team in the NFL is i would have to say the packers. They have so many good players like Charles woodson and clay Mathews . And that just the great players on the defense. on the offense there is Aron rogers donald driver i mean Aron rogers he knows every thing about foot ball. HE knows when to throw in when to keep it. So that is why they are my favorite team in the NFL.

Fast Food

Fast food we all know how bad it is for us yet we all still eat it. Why is it because we are too lazy to make are own food. Or is it to good to resist. Well whatever your reason is we need to stop now. More and more Americans are becoming obese. I mean come on people 30.6 percent of Americans are obese. Also 65 percent of adult Americans are overweight. It is your choose don’t be like some people trying to sue McDonald's for getting fat off their food. It is your fault you bought their food. So we have to stop no matter what .I don’t care what your reason is stop.

I love foot ball it is the best sport in the world. It is so great because it is the most physical sport .Right next to rugby but that is to physical . When you play foot ball You can be on defense if u like tackling people . Or you can be on offense if u like blocking or chatting or running the ball . But every one dose not like foot ball that’s ok as long as What ever sport you play you give one hundred present.

how to survive middle school

Ok this is a survival manual on how to survive middle school . Not a book that tells a whole bunch of stuff that never happened this is all true .The first thing you need to know is the groups . There's the Goth girls the sport girls then there are the nerds then the jocks and the floaters .what you wont to know what every group is alright then .
nerds are like the computer freaks. The Goth girls are the ones that always were black and the sporty girls are the ones that are always happy .the jokes are the ones that are all cool and stuff . also there is the floaters and that is pretty much it.

Dose Patriotism still matter?


If you ask me if patriotism still maters. I would say yes Patriotism still matters. Maybe it does not matter as much as it use to. But it still matters a lot. The army has so much patriotism .All the men and women that are fighting for us and our country. Without them we would be doomed. A big example of patriotism is the army's weapons .Every signal one is made in the U.S even their tanks and planes and automobiles are made in the U.S.

Another example of patriotism is the war .That the brave soldiers of are wonderful country are fighting. I believe that patriotism does not matter nearly as much as it use to. Because the war. Ok now this may sound bad but when there is war there is more patriotism. Now don’t get me wrong I would love it if there was no war. I’m just saying that when there more war there is more patriotism. The reason is. The army makes more stuff that is in America because it is better built and stronger.

Another reason why I think there is less patriotism is .There were more people coming to America to have a new beginning. They came from all over the world from Ireland from Italy and mean other places. But not many people are coming to America compared to 40 years ago. Alright now there are plenty of people that believe different. Like they could believe that it does not matter at all. Or someone could believe that it matters now more than ever. So no matter what you believe in. so that is what I think of patriotism. At the end of it all I know we are all proud to be an America. God bless America and go U.S.A!!!
